Kitchen remodel in Serra Mesa

How this kitchen came together

This kitchen opens directly into the family room under a vaulted ceiling, with the long island between the two.

We built the island in navy shaker cabinets with brass pulls and a white quartz top. A microwave drawer in the island keeps the microwave off the counters. Three pendants with Edison bulbs hang above it.

Across from the island, a pro-style gas range sits under a stainless hood. White tile runs up the wall behind it in a herringbone pattern, with wood floating shelves on both sides. The navy cabinets continue around the corner to the sink and a brass faucet under the window.

We completed the kitchen in the summer of 2022.
