Bathroom remodel in Point Loma
A stone-tile shower rebuilt with sage vertical tile and a brass sliding glass door, plus an arched mirror and wood vanity.

How this Point Loma bathroom came together
The owners of this Point Loma home wanted to remodel most of the house: the kitchen, the dining and family rooms, new floors upstairs and down, the staircase, the laundry room and three bathrooms.
After our first estimate, they asked to change some of their selections. We reviewed flooring, railing and cabinet options with them before work began.
This is the first-floor guest bathroom, the smallest of the three. It had a walk-in shower in brown stone tile behind a glass door. We removed the tile, the glass and the old fixtures, framed a new curb and a niche, hot-mopped a new shower pan and waterproofed the shower walls.
The new shower is sage tile set vertically, with a new valve, brass fixtures and a brass sliding glass door. The room also received a new tile floor and a new 24-inch vanity.
We are still working on the rest of the house.
